The USS / CGV Tanmesad has been commissioned to help restore order to the Cardassian Union by helping the Hebetian Governments Emergency Management Authority established peaceful governance across the Union.

Devastating explosions in Lakarian City killing Avenal Governess Ro Vasha and devastating the parliament buildings as well as the destruction of the Endek Lonar killing Hebetian Fleet Legate Lonar of Lakaria and badly damaging the flagship, the Cardassian Guard Vessel Gulad only add to the risks as the Hebetian Government attempts to occupy the territories of the Union.

Welcome to the USS / CGV Tanmesad

The Provisional Government of Elim Garak of Cardassia, the humble tailor who served aboard Deep Space Nine has made the esteemed gesture to the United Federation of Planets of offering the services of the newest Galor Class Vessel. The vessel has been placed under the command of Gul Vash Enranut, the former Legate (Admiral of the Fleet) who has been demoted for an incident involving the USS Nova Horizon, a Sigma Division Reseach and Development Vessel and its Executive Officer, Lt. Commander Thua'ra Varno, also a Cardassian. Vash Enranut has been granted the rank of Lt. Commander in the Star Fleet but has chosen to be referred by his Cardassian Rank, Gul Vash Enranut. These are the voyages of the Tanmesad, the first Cardassian Vessel in service to the United Federation of Planets and Star Fleet.

Welcome Lt. Commander Laren Kira

First, the bad news ~ with all due respect to one of the finest marine weapons researchers in the entire Federation, I have the unfortunate task of removing Lt. Colonel Brenda Todd from the role of Chief Operations Officer. This is doubly difficult for me because of my feelings for Lt. Colonel Todd but this is a business and having to help her through the activities in a crisis does not make the ship function at the level it needs to. Lt. Colonel will remain in her role of excellence, the Chief Science Officer but will no longer be the Tanmesad Operations Chief.

In order to facilitate her growth in bridge operations, I am pleased to announce that Lt. Colonel Brenda Todd will take the Night Shift on the Helm with fellow marine, Colonel Laphe of Larle. Thank you to Glinn T'Zohl of Vulcan for accepting the reassignment.

The Tanmesad is pleased to announce that Lt. Commander Laren Kira, most recently the Executive Officer aboard the Bajoran Vessel, the Confederacy will join the Tanmesad as Chief Operations Officer. Laren brings a wealth of experience having served in the role on the USS Nova Horizon in both the Sigma Division and in the Federation Elite Force.

T'Ros of Romulus leaves for Omega Colony

The Tanmesad is pleased to announce the transfer of Commander T'Ros of Romulus to the Omega Colony. Commander T'Ros will serve as Mayor of ROME, [Romulan Omega Molecule Experitment] the Romulan City and Research Facility on the Omega Colony.

Commander T'Ros has been restored to full status by the Romulan Star Empire and is thanked for her involvement in the rescue of the Tanmesad after the Sector 31 Warp Core Incident.

Congratulations, Commander. We wish you the best as you face new challenges on the Omega Colony.
